General Questions

  • What is myLocal?

    myLocal is a platform that connects local farmers with shoppers in their community. Farmers can list their fresh produce, and consumers can buy directly from them, supporting local businesses and eating healthier.

  • When will the app be available?

    We're currently in development and plan to launch soon! Sign up for updates to be the first to know when myLocal is ready.

  • How does myLocal work?

    Farmers list their products for sale on the app. Shoppers browse the listings, place orders, and either pick them up or arrange for delivery (if available). It’s that simple!

  • Why should I use myLocal?

For Shoppers

  • Is the app free for shoppers?

    Yes! Browsing and purchasing through the app is completely free for shoppers. You only pay for the items you buy.

  • What types of products will be available?

    You’ll find fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, baked goods, and more from local farmers and producers. Availability may vary by location.

  • How do I pick up my order?

    Farmers will provide pick-up locations and times in their listings. Some may also offer delivery or meetups, depending on your area.

For Farmers

  • How do farmers list their products?

    Farmers can easily create an account, upload photos, and list their products with pricing and descriptions through the app's intuitive dashboard.

  • Is there a fee for farmers?

    There are no fees to list your products on myLocal. However, a small nominal fee will be applied to credit card transactions to cover processing costs. This ensures we can provide secure and seamless payment options for both farmers and shoppers.

  • How will farmers get paid?

    Farmers receive payments directly from shoppers through secure credit card payment options in the app. However, we encourage shoppers to pay with cash or check directly to the farmer whenever possible. This helps more of the money stay with the farmers who produce your food, rather than going to credit card companies. Farmers may collect cash payments at their farm or other agreed-upon locations."



  • What if I sell out of a product?

    Your listing automatically updates to reflect your inventory based on the quantity you input. If a product sells out, it will be marked as unavailable to shoppers. You can adjust inventory in real-time as needed.

  • How is my personal information protected?

    We take privacy seriously. All personal and payment information is encrypted and securely stored. We will never share your data with third parties without your consent.  See our privacy policy HERE.

    Yes, all transactions are processed through secure payment gateways to ensure the safety of your financial information.
